Agreed, and good for your for getting yourself free of drugs
there’s a different between postpartum depresion and phychisi i have 5 childrens myself and last year i went trhu a horrible case of postpartum phychosis i have horrible though toward my childrens and my kids were removed from my home for almost 3 full months, all the medications work well and i have lot of support!!! but yeah postpartum phychosis can give u horrible thoughs but i never act on them so i will assume that her case was worst than mine, and i was advice not to have anymore childrens
Please…. Watch 60 Minutes where Ed Bradley interviews Mr. Yates. Russell convinced Andrea that she was capable of handling more children, so they went to her psychiatrist asking to stop the medication, regardless the doctor’s warnings and suggestion not to have more kids, because that would lead to more depression, the couple quit medication and had the baby girl. Thus, it wasn’t the medication that led her to do that.
This is so sad, well I have a mental illness, when I was pregnant because birth control went wrong, I was suicidal during pregnancy and I threaten to take my own life. The doctors were concerned and I had to have an early termination because my mental health was getting out of control.
I have alot of mental disorders including bipolar, and I can get manic. I will not have kids ever. If I was mentally stable I would kept my baby.
I do love children alot and I would never hurt them in away. I have a step daughter that I love and I take very good care of her. Also, I’m over protected of her which is good news my medication works ok thank goodness
The irony that such a beautiful moment in your life becomes the reason you turn into a murderer and kill your kid or kids.

i hate them and the next time i go to the doctor’s i am telling them to take me off. i am taking 10mg of celexa which makes me walk around like a zombie. true it am relaxed but totally unaware of my surroundings.

I was the combination of everything and it was awful. I made the guy use protection so I wouldn’t get pregnant or catch some STD and everything went against me and I’m angry that it had to happen to me and wished it didn’t.
Post partum psychosis is completely different in context than PP-depression. Andrea was extremely sick-mentally, both on and off medication, she was mentally unstable. Her husband should have helped more with the kids, and should have refused having another child! The innocent children paid with their lives at the hands of a mentally disturbed Andrea. Her husband is as guilty as she is for ignoring the warnings and obvious signs of psychosis.

I’ve taken Effoxor and I tried to take my own life on that and now I’m on Wellbutrin and that is just as bad. I’m all messed up more on them. Antidepressants can make people loony. I got rid of my male psychatrist and told him to go straight to hell. Not to be a sexist I don’t like male doctors because of being raped by a man that was related to me so I can’t trust them

She is to blame for the murder of her children. Even if she did have postpartum depression and/or psychosis, it is still no excuse for what she did. Somewhere in our brains, even when we have depression, we always know our actions, so she cannot be excused in any way at all. I’m not saying she was depressed, or anything, maybe she was on drugs… idk.
I could feel something starting going wrong during the second pregnancy . After the 3 child i went and have my tubes tied because i knew thier would be catastrophy if i had another child .

I cannot believe the insanity of what our legal system allows. Andrea committed capital muder and worst of all the vitims where children 7 and under. It is only relativity and stupid psychiatric excuses for child abuse of the highest level, Vis-à-vis…murder…of innocent children…babies for God’s sake.The excsuse making murderous sympathisers are a disgrace!
